Holistic, patient-centered care for
Ramat HaNegev communities

Superior primary and preventative healthcare services to meet the urgent needs of a growing population

  • The Ramat HaNegev region is experiencing a significant growth in population. Every community in the council is expanding, with approximately 100 new families migrating to the area each year. Close to 40% of the population is made up of children.
  • Currently, the residents of the community settlements and farms dispersed across the region’s 4.2 million square feet have to rely on the services of only six small family clinics and one specialty clinic.
  • The anticipated growth of the region makes access to high-quality medical care services a priority. The region needs a centrally located, cutting-edge healthcare facility in order to develop the region and improve the community’s sense of well-being.

Open 5 days a week, the Ramat HaNegev Health and Medical Center will offer superior medical services and will include specialists in areas such as:

    • Orthopedics
    • OBGYN
    • ENT
    • Dermatology
    • General surgery
    • Ophthalmology
    • Plastic surgery
    • Mother & child nutrition support

Additionally, the new center will provide a pharmacy and a night clinic, providing emergency health services to people in the periphery. Several health promoting programs will be implemented:

    • Lifestyle groups
    • Special exercise groups for the elderly
    • Smoking cessation support groups

This center will also maintain excellent working relationships with family physicians in the Negev region and with a variety of consultants and ER doctors from Soroka Medical Hospital in Beer Sheva.

As time goes on, the center hopes to implement new services such as behavioral and emotional health services, a dental clinic, a geriatric specialist, a rehabilitation clinic, and an integrative medicine clinic.
