Eshkol Educational Agricultural Farm
The Educational Agricultural Farm in Eshkol is being developed to transform a former regional high school into an advanced agricultural campus ecosystem that bridges the gap between academia and industry. The goal is to bring students and researchers, together with farmers in the region, to create innovative research projects that address today’s global agricultural challenges.
The 4-acre complex with have a curriculum for middle and high school students, as well as a post-high school degree program.
Construction costs are projected to be $1.9 million. In addition to the physical space requirements listed below, curriculum needs to be developed for elementary, middle and high school levels, as well as an Agrotech Degree Program.
Project Vision

- Four classrooms (that will also serves as reinforced safe rooms)
- An educational greenhouse for seedling cultivation, with two indoor learning areas
- A technological greenhouse, including an oil lab, seaweed growing tanks, a computer and data processing area, a maker space, and more
- An outdoor kitchen with a brick oven, sink, and workstations
- Develop an orchard, a vegetable garden, a herb garden, an insect net house, an ecological pond, and a fish and seaweed pond
The Ramat HaNegev R&D Center collaborates with local farms, universities, and global partners. Funding is urgently needed to continue this important work.
