Meet some families who call the Negev home
The Negev is where I met my husband, got married, and gave birth to our three children, whom we raise in a high-quality atmosphere which one can find only in the Negev. We have established our agricultural business here and obtained land for practicing high-tech agriculture.
The Negev is an inseparable part of our lives.
In our community, neighbors become your family. Living in a small community is very beneficial, since everyone knows each other and we consider ourselves one big family.
I began my career as a tour guide while teaching, during vacations, and my specialties are Jerusalem and the Negev.
We chose to move to the Negev because we wanted to be part of a story. We wanted to be a unique part of a community where we could make a difference. Just moving to the Negev is an important step in this story — it is a priority to increase numbers in the region. Now we have the ability to contribute in a real way.
The future is in combining rural and urban, desert and modern. We need to attract people in big cities from all over Israel, all different types of people, so that they come live here. The Negev is becoming more independent because here we have access to some of the most advanced technology, but we’re also always so close to the outdoors.
